This page explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Plouse website and inside the app. The short version: we keep it minimal.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device to remember information, like preferences or session state, between visits.
Cookies on this website
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies to measure how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). These cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. We also remember your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so we don’t ask again. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Cookies in the app
The Plouse app is a native macOS application and does not use cookies in the browser sense. It stores its own local database on your Mac, as described in our privacy statement.
Third-party services
When you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google. Google processes the analytics data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the EU, including to the United States. We don’t embed advertising or social-media trackers.
Managing cookies
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the button below, or clear and block cookies in your browser’s settings. Declining or clearing analytics cookies won’t affect your ability to use this site.

If our cookie usage changes, we’ll update the date above and describe what changed.
